GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC AMBALA -- PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY DEPTT.

The institution is running a 3-year Diploma in Plastic Technology on semester system. The course aims at providing Theoretical and Practical inputs in the field of Plastic Technology through class-room training and practical training on various sophisticated machines like CNC Injection moulding, Blow molding machine, CNC wire cut, EDM etc. The training includes areas of processing & testing of plastics mould designing and mould making etc. After completion of diploma, the students can be absorbed in Plastic Processing industries. Also, the students can start their own unit after hands on experience on the machines.

Facilities

To achieve the course objectives, the department has been equipped with Plastic Processing Lab., Fabrication Shop, Testing Lab, Chemical Engg. Lab., CADD Lab etc. These labs has latest and sophasticated machinery and equipment for training of students.
