Govt. Polytechnic Manesar is situated in the idyllic lush green ranges of Aravali in the environs of the historic city of Gurgaon on a beautiful hill top in the outskirts of the hamlet of Manesar about 15 K.Ms from Gurgaon on NH-8 i.e Delhi-Jaipur Highway. Gurgaon is an ancient city which came into being during the period of Kaurava’s & Pandva’s education when their teacher Guru Dronacharya built it as a small village baptized as Gurugram.

Manesar is conveniently located within traveling distance from National capital Delhi(40 K.Ms) & Gurgaon(about 15 K.Ms) on the National Highway No8.

Govt. Polytechnic, Manesar is the Polytechnic of the future. Being situated on the rapidly developing belt in terms of industrialization, its proximity to National Capital Delhi & due to the quality education it provides, Govt. Polytechnic, Manesar is full of opportunities for aspiring & talented youth. The students of this institute, as the records thus far manifest, stand extremely fair chances of getting absorbed into good jobs as the potential for jobs inthis area due to rapid industrialization is tremendous.

HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE

Govt. Polytechnic, Manesar came into existence in 1995 when it was inaugurated Hon’ble C.M of Haryana. The village panchayat exhibited great enthusiasm & helped establishing the institute with the donation of about forty eight acres of land & a well- constructed though insufficient building for an instantaneous start.
