INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

1. Civil Work :- The institution is spread over an area of 18 acres consisting of administrative and teaching blocks, multi-purpose hall, two hostels and 22 staff residence, Under World Bank Project, adequate infrastructure has been created in terms of building, machinery and equipment, books, furniture’s etc.

2. Furniture :- A sum of Rs. 18 lacs has available under various schemes had been spent. Ample furniture items as per requirements have been made available in the polytechnic.

3. Books :- A large no. of books i.e. 15000 books have been purchased as per the requirement of various departments. Beside this, a large no. of book racks, study carrels etc. have also been purchased.

4. Vehicle :- Under this head, One Jeep ( provided to T.P.O. ) & Two Mini Buses ( One of 15 seater and another of 30 seater ) have been purchased.

5. Setting up of new laboratories :-

5. Food Microbiology Lab

6. Food Processing Lab

7. Machine Room

1. Seminar room / Conference room :- For holding extension lectures,

meetings, seminars etc. a well equipped Seminar / Conference room having facilities like White Board, T.V., V.C.R., OHP, Round Table with Mikes is available.
