(a) Number of beneficiaries:
Since the starting of the institution, 1206 no. of girls students have been trained and passed out / undergoing training in various disciplines. Some of our students have found placement in the reputed organizations and working as professionals in their respective fields. Apart from conducting the regular diploma courses, the institute has not forgotten its social commitment for the upliftment of women belonging to the weaker sections of the society , particularly belonging to the rural areas, by imparting them training in various technical skills for gainful employment / self employment. Uptill now , about 1900 no. of women trainees have been benefited through the community development centers run by this institute.
(b) Linkage with industry:
The institute frequently organizes seminars , extension lectures by the experts invited from the various reputed organizations and industries to expose the students to latest know-how so as to enable them to keep in pace with the rapidly changing technological trends . The students of the institute are taken on visits to various industries for exposure to the practical works in actual industrial environment . This not only improves their theoretical knowledge but also establishes a link between theory and practical work. The students are also sent on six months mandatory industrial training in various reputed industries and organizations of state govt. and the central govt.
(c) Innovative educational practices adopted :
A separate Learning Resources Utilization Cell (LRUC) has been setup in the institute . Apart from conventional teaching aids , the following innovative resources are being used for imparting classroom and practical training to the students.

The standards of technical education being provided to the students in this institution need more attention to be paid towards all-round development of students . The teaching staff must use their trained intellect & analyses major problems confronting our society and display their sophisticated skills in the creation of new technologies for solving problems of unemployment etc. We can save our humanity and secure our future only through our active participation in the program of social transformation . In this sphere, only technical education can play an important roll in providing maximum technicians / engineers to the industries. Technical institutions and industries must join hands for their mutual benefits . Technical institutions can extend their training facilities to industries for continuing education to their workers . On the other hand , industries have to come forward to provide opportunities to the students and faculty members hands on practical training in their industries . This will create a healthy environment for quality output from technical institutions and the industry as well .
