Department of Architectural Engineering

           The department of Architectural assistantship offers a 3 years course leading to Diploma of State Board of Technical Education Haryana based on semester system. It is fully equipped to handle the field related problems of planning, designing and execution of any type of building project. The facility of surveying of the site and the structural designing are also available. The staff is adequately trained and experienced to help the students in solving the site related problems in the drawing halls and also on the site.The staff of the department is also trainned to take up the the interior designing in computer room in the polytechnic . The facilities of making models of buildings, sectionals models of buildings showing details of the buildings, layout models of the buildings and complex can be made in the department . The staff of the department has designed the Logo of polytechnic . The deptt. has its own AutoCAD lab .

 

 

Department of Computer Engineering & Information Technology

        Computer Engg. Department has been established in 1993 under WBAP(World Bank Associated Project). The department has fully equipped four Labs with 60 plus high configuration systems. All the four labs are fully air conditioned and connected with UPS. The one lab has Novell NetWare platform ,two labs are having multimedia systems. The one lab has adequate facilities for hardware approach like assembling of computers, PCB Designing etc. The department has the facility of Internet. The Department also takes keen interest for the placement of students in industry as well as for their further study.

 

Department of Electronics & Communication Engg.

          The department offers 3 years Diploma in Electronics & Comm. Engg. There are seven labs & one shop in this department. All the labs are equipped with latest machinery & equipment as per curriculum of the course. The detail of various labs is as under:

           In the department of Modern Office Practice, Typing Lab. and Typing workshop have been setup for conducting practical of typing and shorthand. One computer lab is aslo being setup for imparting the training to the students. The staff of the department plays a keen role for conducting the extra curricular activities.

TPO

The institute frequently organizes seminars , extension lectures by the experts invited from the various reputed organizations and industries to expose the students to latest know-how so as to enable them to keep in pace with the rapidly changing technological trends . The students of the institute are taken on visits to various industries for exposure to the practical works in actual industrial environment . This not only improves their theoretical knowledge but also establishes a link between theory and practical work. The students are also sent on six months mandatory industrial training in various reputed industries and organizations of state govt. and the central govt.
