WORKSHOP

For any institute, engaged in imparting technical education its workshop has always been considered quite significant. Workshop is a place where students are skilled in various manufacturing and fabrication processes used for manufacturing of different products. Diploma engineers, particularly in Mechanical Engg. are responsible for supervising production processes to optimum utilization of resources and achieving desired production targets. They are also required to handle specialized machines and equipments including CNC machines. For this purpose, knowledge and skills about various machinery processes are required to be imparted for enabling them to perform above functions.

During workshop periods we always aim at development of knowledge and skills of students regarding various production processes tools and equipments including use of high tech machines. Also the students are taught about the various safety precautions as well as importance of quality during manufacturing.

Besides having the whole range of conventional machinery and equipments, the various shops in our workshop are equipped with latest sophisticated machinery and equipments used in various industries these days. We have been continuously updating our shops & their technicians based on the feedback provided by our IIC Cell from time to time as per the requirements of curricula & industries. We have been sponsoring our technicians to attend various STCs & Workshop organized by various industries & NITTTIS from time to time so that the student could be taught about the latest technology. Implementation of World Bank assisted project helped us a lot in modernizing our shops.
