Technical Education act as a solar system in this world and we (Comp. Engg.) acts as a planet of that. Computer Engg. is a flourishing and blossoming field in this Hi-Tech world. Computer Engg. provides the ground to adopt new technology for every Department like Civil , Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical etc. Without Computer Knowledge every department will be dummy and mute. Computer Engg. is soul of every department and it is the need of the day.

This Department also conducts nos. of short-term computer courses to generate the revenue. Department has fully equipped five computer laboratories with 90 nos. high configuration computer systems, laser printers, color printers, internet facility. One of these laboratories has adequate facilities for hardware, PCB designing and assembling of computers. The Department has the facilities of Multimedia systems and established Internet Lab. This department also conducts practical of all other departments such as MCS and CA of electronics department CAD , CAM and CAMD of plastic department, STRUDS and CAD of civil department, CPA of electrical department, BIT of all trades and CAD of mechanical department.

The department updated itself regularly during the implementation of World Bank assisted project of Modernization. It is also worth mentioning here that department got a special grant from the A.I.C.T.E. under MODROBS to tune of Rs.10Lacks. The various Laboratories which are functioning under this department are equipped with latest testing equipments. The details of these laboratories are listed below :-
