This institute has started the diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering in the year 1994-95.

This department through its trained diploma engineers contributed in a big way by making a sound & technical establishment network under public & private sector. The department is equipped with well trained faculty and fully developed & modernized laboratories.

The department continuously renovates its labs as per the curriculum to fulfill the demand of the present industrial requirements. It is worth mentioning that with the help of aid received under the World Bank Project and grant received under MODROBS scheme from AICTE, the facilities of labs have been modernized & updated with present scenario of the institution.
